Hi, I'm Alora, and I’m here to help couples who feel disconnected, misunderstood, or stuck in negative patterns. If you are struggling with communication, intimacy, or trust, I understand how painful that can be, and I want you to know that change is possible. My passion lies in helping couples break free from these cycles and rediscover the connection and love they once had.

I use a blend of Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy, both research based approaches to help couples build deeper emotional bonds and resolve conflict in a healthy way. Through therapy, I help couples express their true needs, navigate difficult conversations, and create a relationship where both partners feel valued and understood. I believe that when couples feel safe enough to be vulnerable, they can transform their relationship into something stronger and more fulfilling.

In our work together, I will guide you to explore the emotions beneath the surface, understand the patterns keeping you stuck, and foster a relationship that feels secure and supportive. I believe that every couple has the potential to heal and grow, and my goal is to provide a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you can begin that process.

As a mother, I also understand the unique challenges that come with balancing marriage while raising children. I have supported many parents through relationship challenges, postpartum depression, and pregnancy loss. I am honored to walk alongside parents as they navigate these overwhelming experiences. My goal is to help you feel seen, understood, and confident in your journey as both a partner and a parent.

I have experience working with a wide range of issues beyond couples therapy, including religious trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, chronic pain, and recovery from domestic violence. I am also deeply committed to supporting clients from diverse backgrounds, including the LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent communities. I believe in approaching each client with cultural humility, curiosity, and respect, empowering you to recognize that your challenges do not define you or your future.

As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, I am trained to help you find clarity and healing. I earned my Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and my Bachelor’s in Psychology & Counseling from Hope International University. I am a proud member of CAMFT, reflecting my commitment to ethical, compassionate care. I have completed Gottman Level One and Two training. My clinical work is supervised by Cara McDowell, LMFT#43358, ensuring you receive the highest quality support.

When I'm not in the therapy room, I recharge by spending time outdoors, whether it’s hiking, going to the beach, or gardening. I also love photography, podcasts, and curling up with a good book. My perfect day includes quality time with my husband, children, and friends, enjoying great food and music.

If you're ready to take the first step towards healing and strengthening your relationship, I would be honored to support you on that journey.
