Many of the couples I work with begin therapy in a space of overwhelm. They may be struggling with communication, conflict, parenting, or sexless marriages. Some are navigating the impact of infidelity. Others are questioning whether their marriage can continue. Most feel stuck in patterns they do not know how to change.

My work is centered on slowing things down and creating a space where each partner can begin to feel seen and understood again. Together, we uncover the patterns that keep the relationship stuck and shift how partners respond to one another. As understanding deepens, the relationship changes. Couples find that when they feel emotionally safe with each other, new conversations, and the kind of relationship they long for, becomes possible.

A significant focus of my practice is supporting couples through the aftermath of infidelity. I help partners process what has happened, understand the deeper impact, and move toward repair with care, honesty, and emotional presence. Even in the wake of deep hurt, it is possible to rebuild trust and create a relationship that feels more connected and resilient than before.

I also offer discernment counseling for couples on the brink of divorce, where one partner is uncertain about whether to stay or leave. This is a short-term, structured process designed to bring confidence and clarity on the future of their relationship. Rather than rushing toward a decision, I help each partner understand what has happened in the relationship and what each partner wants for their life moving forward.

In addition to therapy, I lead Hold Me Tight® workshops. These workshops offer couples a structured, supportive space to strengthen emotional connection, improve communication, and deepen intimacy.

My clinical work is grounded in Emotionally Focused Therapy, an evidence-based approach to helping couples create secure, lasting bonds. I have advanced training in EFT, including infidelity, trauma, sex, violence and in the process of becoming certified in the model.

I have a background in family therapy, parent coaching, and perinatal mental health. I am certified in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International, and I have worked extensively with families navigating parenting stress, emotional challenges, and major life transitions. In addition, I completed the Co-Parenting Specialist® Training with Christina McGhee. My systems based approach enables me to support my clients within the larger context of their family.

I am the Founder of Integrative Couples Therapy in Encinitas, California, where I work alongside a team of therapists dedicated to strengthening relationships. My style is warm, direct, and practical.
