The Power of Choice with Lindsay Smith

Success in the mental health field does not remove uncertainty. If anything, it brings more responsibility, complexity, and pressure. Whether you are therapist with a full case load, or leading a group practice, the way you respond during challenging moments matters.

Lindsay Smith, a former therapist who built and sold a multi million dollar mental health company, introduces a simple yet powerful framework: E + R = O (Event + Response = Outcome). This model helps therapists and practice owners move from reactivity to intentional, values aligned leadership, both in the therapy room and in their practice.

Drawing from her clinical background and experience scaling a mental health organization, Lindsay weaves together real stories, practical tools, and a deep understanding of the emotional demands of this work. She explores how our internal stance shapes not only outcomes, but also our identity as clinicians, the culture of our practices, and our overall sense of fulfillment.

You will leave with a clearer way to navigate pressure, respond with steadiness, and approach challenges as part of your growth, rather than something to push through. This is an opportunity to strengthen how you lead, care for others, and sustain yourself in work that asks so much of you.

This is a free event and registration is required. Coffee and light breakfast will be served. RSVP here.
