Hello, I am Shannon Ehlers! I am dedicated to helping both couples and individuals strengthen their relationships and deepen their connections, even amid the demands of busy, professional lives. I understand the unique challenges that arise when career pressures and personal responsibilities pull couples in different directions. Through a thoughtful, relationship-focused approach, I work closely with partners to foster open communication, resolve conflicts, and rebuild bonds that may have weakened over time. I also support individuals in managing overwhelm, addressing anxiety, and overcoming challenges related to relationships, family dynamics, and loss.

I hold a Master’s degree in Marital and Family Therapy from Alliant University, where I also gained invaluable experience working at the Alliant Couple and Family Clinic. With extensive training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy and a background in real estate, I bring a unique perspective on the pressures faced by professionals, particularly those balancing demanding careers with a fulfilling personal, romantic, and family life. I also have a special interest in supporting busy professional individuals providing the space to unpack the complexities that can emerge in high-stress environments.

In both individual and couples therapy, I combine empathy with practical tools to foster meaningful, sustainable change. I believe that, with the right guidance, every relationship has the potential to grow stronger and more resilient. My mission is to help my clients create lasting, fulfilling relationships that can weather life’s challenges and bring out the best in each partner. For those ready to invest in their relationship, I offer the expertise, understanding, and tools necessary for lasting, positive change.

I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist under the supervision of Cara McDowell, LMFT#43358.
