Integrative Couples Therapy in Encinitas is seeking an associate or licensed therapist who wants to focus on providing excellent therapy within a collaborative part time role. We are specifically seeking a therapist experienced in couples therapy and parenting support.
At Integrative Couples Therapy, our therapists focus on seeing their clients without having to worry about marketing, networking, insurance panels, heavy administrative tasks, or lengthy documentation requirements. Here, you can show up, do excellent clinical work, engage in thoughtful consultation and collaboration, and go home with your energy intact. Our serene private pay practice is dedicated to couples and relationships and owned and operated by a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. We provide a warm and welcoming place to work, while you focus on the work you love.
The Role:
You will:
Provide couple and individual therapy in a private pay setting
Practice in person in our Encinitas office, with some telehealth
Participate in ongoing consultation and thoughtful case discussion
Receive in house clinical supervision (for associates)
Continue refining and strengthening your therapeutic skills
Be part of a small and engaged clinical team
Connect with the broader therapist community in our growing collective, Seremar Collective, if desired
What We Provide:
Pay starts at $100 per clinical hour and $20 per admin hour for licensed therapists
Pay starts at $60 per clinical hour and $20 per admin hour associate therapists
W2 employment
Private pay referrals (we do not accept any health insurance)
Billing, marketing, intake coordination, and administrative support
A serene and fully furnished office space
Electronic health record system, Google workspace, and encrypted email
A collaborative environment that values clinical excellence
Clinical consultation in couples therapy and professional training
This Role Is a Good Fit If You:
Have experience working with couples and want to deepen your mastery
Have experience in providing providing therapy to parents and want to provide attachment based support to coupling parents and co-parents
Enjoy learning and growing, professionally and clinically
Prefer to see clients in person, with some telehealth
Appreciate collegial connection without constant networking and self promotion pressure
Want part time and sustainable clinical work, with room to grow, if desired
Are available at least two days in our office, on Wednesdays, Thursdays or Fridays to start
Have availability for at least 15 clients per week
Requirements:
Active associate or license with the BBS California in good standing
Experience providing couples therapy and parent/child/family support
Preferred Requirements:
Completion of the Emotionally Focused Therapy Externship or another training in couples therapy (such as, Relational Life Therapy, Gottman, PACT, The Developmental Model or other)
Experience/training in one or more of the following: sex therapy, addiction, narcissist abuse, co-parenting, parenting, perinatal mental health and trauma.
