Integrative Couples Therapy
Cristina Trette, Couples Therapist and Founder
Over time, many couples come find their communication and connection becoming strained. Through couples therapy, we guide couples to communicate better and strengthen love and intimacy.
Hello, I’m Cristina Trette, I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and the Founder of Integrative Couples Therapy. I created Integrative Couples Therapy because I saw the need for an in person and virtual therapy practice that truly specializes in couples therapy and because I believe that loving relationships are at the heart of a meaningful life.
Our team is trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy, an evidence-based approach for strengthening bonds. We believe that almost all relationships have the capacity to flourish with the right support. With the guidance of a skilled, direct, and compassionate therapist, you can create the kind of love and life you desire. Welcome.

Our Specialties
-
When communication feels strained, it can leave both partners feeling unheard or disconnected. With support, couples discover new ways of listening and speaking that bring clarity, understanding, and ease back into everyday conversations.
-
Conflict does not have to pull a relationship apart. When couples learn how to move through disagreements with care and understanding, conflict can become an opportunity for growth and deeper connection.
-
Emotional closeness can fade quietly over time, especially during busy or stressful seasons of life. Rebuilding connection helps couples feel seen, supported, and more deeply bonded again.
-
Changes in sexual intimacy are common and often reflect the rhythms of life and relationship stress. With patience and openness, many couples rediscover a sense of closeness, desire, and comfort with one another.
-
When trust is shaken, it can feel unsettling and painful. With time and thoughtful support, many couples are able to heal, rebuild safety, and move forward with greater honesty and closeness.
-
Family life can stretch even strong relationships. Strengthening the partnership helps couples feel more aligned, supported, and connected as they navigate parenting and family together.
