Integrative Couples Therapy in Encinitas, California is looking for a Social Media and Marketing Assistant to join our team. We are seeking someone who enjoys social media, understands technology, and wants to contribute to our mission to strengthen relationships. This role is especially well suited for an MFT graduate student, who hopes to become a couples therapist, and wants hands-on experience in a clinical setting, along with mentorship from a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.

This is a part-time W2 hybrid position that includes both remote and in-person work. There are no benefits. The role begins at five hours per week with room to grow. We are looking for someone who is interested in building a future career in couples therapy.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Current MFT graduate student or recent graduate

  • Interest in becoming a couples therapist

  • Basic knowledge of attachment theory and Emotionally Focused Therapy and desire to learn more

  • Comfort with social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn

  • Experience using Canva

  • Strong writing, organization, and communication skills

  • Tech savvy and willing to learn new tools

  • Reliable, self-directed, and comfortable working both independently and alongside the practice owner

About the Role

This part-time W2 hybrid position includes a mix of remote and in-person work. You will help create and manage social media content, assist with basic marketing tasks, and support the overall brand and communication needs of the practice. The schedule is flexible, and the role begins at five hours per week with growth potential. There are no benefits at this time.

  • Create, edit, and schedule social media posts across platforms

  • Support brand consistency through simple content creation

  • Take photos and videos in our office

  • Communicate with therapists to engage them in our social media efforts

  • Assist with basic marketing tasks such as newsletters, website updates, or event promotion

  • Help organize digital assets and maintain an efficient content workflow

  • Work collaboratively with the practice owner to support overall visibility and outreach

  • Assist at live events including set up, attendance and break down

  • Assist at virtual events

  • Run errands as assigned

  • Attend weekly admin/leadership meeting

  • Attend monthly admin meeting in person with clinical team
